The Diabelli Variations
George Lepauw recorded Beethoven’s one-of-a-kind Diabelli Variations during the year of Beethoven’s 250th anniversary, in the Beethoven Haus auditorium, next to the composer’s exact birthplace. Released digitally only in December 2020, this album was just released on October 27, 2023 on Compact Disc as as a remastered Spatial Audio for Apple, on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the publication of the Diabelli Variations. Debussy Preludes
This latest album release features the complete Préludes for piano by Claude Debussy, including the twelve preludes from Book I and the twelve preludes from Book II.
The album was recorded at the Music Institute of Chicago in August 2007, and was released by Orchid Classics on October 21, 2022 worldwide, in honor of Debussy’s 160th anniversary year.
